William Grant & Sons retains Brandworks

Distiller William Grant & Sons has appointed Brandworks International of Toronto its Canadian ad agency. The six-week review considered 14 firms for the assignment. The short list consisted of Brandworks, Cossette, Due North and MacKinnon Calderwood. "The decision to bring Brandworks on board as our marketing partner was an easy one," said Ken Kuzmich, the company's Canadian business development manager. "They clearly understood our industry and the challenges we face, and they brought some valuable and well founded insights to the table." William Grant & Sons products include Glenfiddich, Gibson's Finest, Grant's Fine Scotch Whiskey and Balvenie.
