Allard Johnson creates Quebec campaign for George

Allard Johnson of Montreal has created a new ad campaign in Quebec for the launch of a clothing line called "George," sold in Canada by Wal-Mart. The campaign began with a teaser ad on Feb. 7 featuring brand spokescharacter Robert Mountstephen St-John. A follow-up ad called "Sexy Robert" was released on Monday. The ad, which promotes the brand's collection of clothing for men, will run until April 27. The agency has also created a magazine campaign promoting George clothes for children. Another print campaign presents clothing for men and women. These ads will run in March and April. The effort also includes three Zoom postcards for the men's line which will be distributed until March 13. Publicis of Toronto is handling the English campaign for the brand. It will also consist of television and print advertising.
