New Toronto president for DDB Canada

David Leonard will take over as president of DDB Canada's Toronto office on Feb. 28. He will be responsible for personnel development, the creative product and revenue growth. He will also oversee the agency's integrated divisions DDB Public Relations, Tribal DDB, Rapp Collins, and Karacters Design Group. Leonard has been president and CEO of Arnold Worldwide in Toronto since 2001. Prior to that he spent six years at Palmer Jarvis DDB in Vancouver as senior vice-president and group account director. Outgoing Toronto president Jim Herrler has become a consultant for Queue Communications, a division of Omnicom that oversees DDB Worldwide companies in Canada.
