CLINIDATA LAUNCHES NEW SOFTWARE
By Adnews Staff
Clinidata of Montreal will be introducing its new Windows-based health care management software next month at the College of Family Physicians conference in Vancouver. The program lets a doctor pull up a patient's total health history on a computer. As well, it does things such as keeping track of patients' appointments and billing the government. Clindata hired Allard Communication-Marketing of Montreal late last month to handle advertising. The agency won a competition with two other shops because "Allard impressed us with their understanding of the use of new technology in communications and their ability to integrate consumer and health care marketing," business management vice-president Pierre Léonard says in a release. Allard is the company's first agency. Until now Clinidata's business has consisted mainly of doing health care studies and it did not use advertising to promote this enterprise.
