BBDO IN RUNNING FOR INTERNATIONAL AWARD

Toronto-based BBDO Canada of Toronto is in the running again to be named International Agency of the Year by the U.S. ad industry's biggest trade paper, Advertising Age. BBDO Canada is the only Canadian finalist this year. In total there are 60 finalists in 25 different countries. In 1991 BBDO' Canada became the only Canadian agency ever to received the award. The work from BBDO that caught the judges' eyes this years included campaigns for Chrysler Canada, Costa Rica Tourism, Miller Brewing U.S.A., Polaroid Canada, Pizza Hut Canada, Molson Breweries, Apple Canada, Bell Canada, Federal Express, Dominion Directories and BC Tel.
