By Adnews Staff
According to media reports, Rogers Publishing of Toronto has restructured its consumer publishing division, resulting in the departure of several senior staff members. The division's three sub-groups, women's publications, news publications and Quebec publications, will be merged into a single consumer publishing division. This division will be headed by Marc Blondeau, formerly president of the Quebec group Editions Rogers Media. The former heads of the other two sub-groups, Donna Clark and Paul Jones respectively, will depart. MoneySense publisher Kathryn Swan will also exit the company. According to a report on the Masthead Web site, the aim of the restructuring is to allow the division to bring its initiatives to market more quickly.
