BC LOTTERY RELEASES NEW SUPER 7 ADS

TBWA\Vancouver has created a new series of advertisements for the BC Lottery Super 7 lottery. The commercials, which broke on Sept. 6, continue the theme of a previous campaign from the same agency which depicted a TV shopping channel for rich people. The new ads depict a television network for the rich. In one ad, called "Newsbreak," two news anchors present a story about a strike by local pool boys. Another ad, called "Fright Factory," presents a reality TV program in which contestants are dared to drink tap water and take out the garbage. The campaign also includes radio, outdoor and transit advertising.
