By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based Van Houtte broke a campaign called "Office Coffee Revolution" yesterday. Three 30-second radio ads will air in Toronto and Calgary until Oct. 31. The first two ads feature a coffee shop owner named Gunther who has lost business to Van Houtte coffee made in offices. The third ad presents an office manager called Mr. Numbkin who has switched his company's office coffee to Van Houtte. The ads direct listeners to the company's Web site for ways to begin an office coffee revolution. The site also contains an introductory offer of three-months of free coffee for offices in the Toronto and Calgary areas. Sampling programs will begin in Toronto and Calgary on Sept. 29. The radio ads were created by The Chum Group of Toronto. Public relations for Van Houtte are handled by Thornley Fallis Communications of Toronto.
