ALLIANCE ATLANTIS PROMOTES FINE LIVING CHANNEL

Toronto-based Alliance Atlantis Communications is promoting a new television channel called Fine Living with print, outdoor and on-air advertising. In addition, promotional workers from Gearwerx of Montreal wearing television screens are visiting high traffic areas in Toronto to distribute Fine Living "tip cards." A vehicle wrapped with creative for the channel is also travelling throughout the city. Print advertising is running in national magazines and newspapers including Flare, Elle, Wish, Time and Saturday Night. Alliance Atlantis will also place inserts in approximately 150,000 Shaw Festival programs. The print creative depicts a man playing the guitar on a beach. The copy reads, "Live Like You Mean It." A similar ad will be used in some outdoor locations in Toronto. Thirty-second commercials are also airing on Alliance Atlantis channels and in Famous Players theatres in Toronto. The advertising, created in-house, will run through the fall.
