BRAINSTONE TO REPRESENT TWO HISTORY SOCIETY MAGAZINES

BrainStone Communications of Toronto has been retained by Canada's National History Society to handle national advertising sales for its two magazines. The Beaver, which covers Canadian history, has been continually published for 84 years. Distributed six times per year, it has a paid circulation of 49,000. Kayak is a new publication that will present Canadian history to children aged seven to 12. It will debut on Dec. 1 with a combination of paid and controlled circulation totaling 70,000. The magazine, which will be published six times in 2005, will then have a circulation of 25,000.
