YELLOW PAGES BEGINS TORONTO CAMPAIGN

Montreal-based Yellow Pages Group has released a new advertising campaign in Toronto for its central east and west directories. The multi-media campaign is using out-of-home ads, TV closed captioning and newspaper ads to reach users of the directories. The advertising began earlier this summer. The creative seeks to convey that Yellow Pages directories offer "More." In one out-of-home execution, banners installed on sidewalks read, "More paving contractor info." Garbage can ads reads, "More trash removal info." The campaign, created by Cossette Communication-Marketing, will run until October. Public relations for Yellow Pages Group are handled by Fleishman-Hillard Canada.
