AIR CANADA RETAINS THINDATA FOR EMAIL MARKETING

The email marketing account of Aeroplan, Air Canada and Destina.ca has been awarded to Toronto-based Thin Data. Aeroplan and Destina.ca are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Air Canada. Aeroplan is the airline's loyalty program and Destina.ca is an online travel site. Two new contracts, one for Aeroplan and the other for Destina.ca and Air Canada, will run for three years. Under the terms of the agreements, the companies will use ThinData's EMS email marketing system to manage and deploy emails in their respective databases. ThinData won the business following a review of an unknown number of email marketing service providers.
