HILTON BEGINS PRINT CAMPAIGN

Hilton Canada of Mississauga has begun a print advertising campaign to promote its hotels, which include the Hilton, Doubletree, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites and Hilton Garden Inn chains. Called "For Whatever You Seek," the campaign consists of seven ads intended to depict the needs of travellers. One ad shows two children on an amusement park ride. The headline reads "Fun Seekers." The accompanying copy reads, "With 36 wonderful locations the Hilton Family of hotels makes its easy." Another ad depicts several men playing golf. The headline reads "Deal Seekers" and the text is, "Where business and pleasure meet." This is the first time Hilton has promoted all of its brands in one marketing initiative. The advertising, which was created in conjunction with Toronto-based Brandworks, will run in The Globe & Mail, Travel Etc., Meetings & Incentive Travel, Leisureways, Travelweek, Business Travellers, Les Affaires and Cornerstone Sport Source Canada into 2005. The ads will also run in the Tennis Masters Canada Series souvenir program.
