CDMC CONFERENCE

The Canadian Media Directors Council is holding its 1996 conference and international trade show in Toronto on April 11-12. The event will focus on the convergence of computing, communications and media and its impact on the direct marketing industry. Rogers Multi-Media president John Tory will be the keynote speaker. Session topics include: new opportunities for Canadian media, high-tech marketing and how companies are using new media to redefine the way they do business; and how to reach consumers in the 18-28 age group using new media. The conference will also look at the globalization of broadcasting, the proliferation of new broadcast options and what to expect in the coming years. Speakers include Josh Raphaelson of City Interactive, Quadravision president John Long, Youth Intelligence president Jane Rinzler and David Levee of Turner International.
