CFL SIGNS SOUTHERN U.S. BROADCAST AGREEMENT

The Canadian Football League has signed a U.S. broadcast agreement with Comcast Sports Southeast/Charter Sports Southeast, a partnership between cable providers Comcast and Charter Communications. The company will broadcast live CFL games during the league's 2004 season, plus the CFL playoffs and the Grey Cup championship game. The network's coverage area spans 11 southern states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The agreement was developed by Trajectory Sports & Media Group of New York.
