CANADIAN NATIONAL EXHIBITION READIES COMMERCIALS

The Canadian National Exhibition will use a new series of television commercials to promote this year's fair. The ads, created by Stubbs Chapman Advertising & Design of Toronto, present Canadian celebrities singing the CNE jingle "Let's Go to the Ex" in front of various exhibition landmarks. The ads will air from Aug. 11 to 29. The 2004 CNE will open on Aug. 20 and close on Sept. 6. The television advertising will be supported with radio, newspaper and magazine ads, also created by Stubbs & Chapman. Public relations and promotion for the CNE are handled by Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto.
