KELLOGG BEGINS SPIDER-MAN PROMOTION

Kellogg Canada is promoting two limited edition Spider-Man products in conjunction with the June 30 release of the film "Spider-Man 2": Spider-Man wild berry toasted oat cereal and Spider-Man berry flavoured Pop-Tarts. Kellogg is also distributing "Spidey-signal" wristbands in specially marked boxes of Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, Mini-Wheats and Froot Loops cereals. The company is also offering a Spider-Man watch through a mail-in offer on packages of Eggo waffles. Promotion of these Spider-Man products includes a 15-second television tag in English Canada, national print advertising and in-store materials. The TV ad was created by Toronto-based Leo Burnett. Public relations for Kellogg are handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
