FAMILY CHANNEL RESUMES SUMMER CHILL PROMOTION

Family Channel began a second iteration of a promotion called "Summer Chill" in St. John's on Thursday. During the initiative, which also took place last summer, a branded vehicle will travel the country to distribute Giant Kisco freezies to children. This year, two promotional workers called "The Chills" will travel in the truck, which will visit at pools, lakes, rivers and oceans. The tour will make 50 scheduled stops plus a number of unsheduled visits, concluding in British Columbia on Aug. 25. The tour is being promoted on Family Channel with a 30-second commercial. The tour scedule has been posted to the channel's Web site at <http://www.family.ca>, which also containes a weblog by "The Chills" and a section where visitors can submit their experiences with the promotion. The initiative was developed and is being executed by TrojanOne of Toronto.
