KODAK, ROOTS BEGIN OLYMPIC HAT PROMOTION

Kodak Canada and Roots have begun a summer promotion created by B Street Communications of Toronto. Between July 1 and September 30, purchasers of specially marked Kodak film and disposable camera products can mail-in for a limited edition Roots Canadian Olympic hat. "This promotion allows us to further leverage Kodak's global sponsorship with the Olympic games," said Paul Dillon, director of marketing communications at Kodak Canada. The offer is being promoted with free-standing inserts sent to 5.4 million households, photo-finishing envelope stuffers, in-store materials and on the Kodak Web site. Public relations for Kodak are handled by Hunter Lavigne Communications of Aurora, ON.
