INVESTORS GROUP RETAINS SAINT-JACQUES VALLEE Y&R

Winnipeg-based Investors Group has appointed Saint-Jacques Vallée Young & Rubicam of Montreal its new agency of record. The agency will be responsible for strategic planning, creative advertising and media planning and buying. Palm Publicité Marketing of Montreal, Leo Burnett of Toronto and incumbent firm McKim Advertising of Winnipeg were also considered in a "regular review" of the account, according to Neil Taylor, vice-president of marketing for Investors Group. McKim had held the account since 1999.
