MDC ACQUIRES INTEREST IN TORONTO DESIGN STUDIO

MDC Partners of Toronto has acquired a 50.1% interest in Bruce Mau Design. Toronto-based Bruce Mau was founded in 1985. The firm's clients include Indigo Books Music & Cafe, the Air Canada Centre, the New York Jets, Lego, MIT and Umbra. According to MDC, this acquisition is the first of several the company is considering as as a way to expand into businesses that are complimentary to advertising and marketing.
