WORKPLACE SAFETY BOARD STARTS NEW CAMPAIGN

The Ontario Workplace Safety & Insurance Board has begun a new health and safety campaign that uses the tagline, "Be Safe. Be Informed." The campaign is aimed at employees, employers and consumers. It consists of television, radio and print ads that depict the effects of workplace injuries and illnesses on workers, their families, co-workers and friends. The ads also promote the WSIB Web site and toll-free telephone number. The campaign was created by Fuel Advertising of Toronto. The television advertising will run for five weeks, the radio ads for six weeks and the print ads until the end of June.
