ROGERS AT&T BEGINS SUMMER ADVERTISING

Rogers AT&T Wireless broke a summer advertising campaign last night with a 30-second commercial during the series finale of "Friends." The ad depicts a group of friends at an amusement park who use text messaging to arrange a place to meet. The campaign also includes outdoor, print and radio advertising. Initially the campaign will promote text messaging. Additional wireless phone capabilities will be presented later in the campaign. The advertising was created by MacLaren McCann of Toronto.
