UNILEVER PROMOTES LOW-CARB PRODUCTS

Unilever Canada of Toronto is promoting a new line of low-carbohydrate products called Carb Options. The line includes salad dressings, barbecue sauces and marinades. Blue-toned packaging will differentiate them from the company's regular products. The products will go into distribution on May 1. An integrated communications campaign will promote Carb Options. Advertising from Ogilvy & Mather, promotions from GMR Marketing Canada and public relations by Weber Shandwick Worldwide, all based in Toronto, will run through the year.
