LABATT RESUMES STANLEY CUP REPLICA PROMOTION

Labatt has returned to a promotion involving the inclusion of miniature replica Stanley Cups with 28-bottle cases of Labatt Blue in Ontario. Each replica bears the name one of 30 NHL teams. The cups will be distributed for eight weeks at Ontario beer and liquor retailers. Promotion will include television and radio advertising created by Grip of Toronto. The replicas will also be promoted on the company Web site at <www.labattblue.ca>. This Stanley Cup initiative was first used by the brewer four years ago.
