COSSETTE OPENS ELECTRONIC BUSINESS UNIT

Cossette Communication Group of Quebec City has combined its Cossette Interactive and Proximi-T business units to create a new electronic business services firm called Fjord Interactive Marketing + Technology. The division will offer Web design, online campaign management, content management and marketing automation services, among others. Its clients will include Bell, Hydro-Quebec, General Motors of Canada, McDonald's Restaurants of Canada and the Royal Canadian Mint. The firm will be led by national vice-presidents Alex Sakiz, Shari Walczak and Yves Poiré. Sakiz and Walczak were formerly vice-presidents at Cossette Interactive. Poiré was formerly president of Proximi-T.
