GREY WORLDWIDE NORTHWEST CREATES NEW VANCITY CAMPAIGN

Grey Worldwide Northwest of Vancouver has created a new advertising campaign for VanCity. The print ads and radio commercials are running in the Lower Mainland and Victoria. "We used oversized magnets in the creative as a whimsical metaphor for the drawing power of VanCity and its staff," said Grey creative director Jeff Lewis. According to the company, the creative describes four elements that contribute to VanCity's success: staff involvement, member growth, financial success and "Shared Success." Print ads in community, daily and ethnic newspapers present VanCity customers and staff in situations that illustrate these elements. The radio ads will break on March 22.
