TORONTO CHILDREN'S BREAKFAST CLUB TARGETS CORPORATE SPONSORS

The Toronto Children's Breakfast Club is seeking to gain interest from corporate sponsors with a new ad campaign created by Campbell Michener & Lee of Toronto. The Breakfast Club is a program that provides meals to underprivileged children. Newspaper and transit ads showing two pieces of bacon hanging out of a notebook began running in the National Post and on Toronto transit shelters last month. The headline reads, "Some kids are hungry to learn. Some are just hungry." In addition, a direct mail piece is being sent to a list of executives. The mailing includes a piece of toast in a sandwich bag and a note saying that the breakfast program will become toast without help. The campaign will run on an on-going basis.
