AWARDS SHOW ROUND UP

Montreal-based Palm Publicité Marketing has been awarded a bronze medallion at the AME Awards presented by the New York Festival. The agency won in the tourism and travel category for its Pictogram campaign for client Tourism Quebec. Another Montreal agency celebrating is BCP after picking up an Adrian Advertising Award presented by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. BCP won a bronze award in the complete campaign category for the "Go Far/Stay Close - There's no place like home" campaign created for the Canadian Tourism Commission. In related news, Toronto's Downtown Partners has had its "Good Dog" TV spot for Anheuser Busch's Bud Light beer ranked #1 on USA Today's Ad Meter. The spot, which features two dog owners demonstrating how their dogs fetch a Bud Light, ran during the U.S. broadcast of the Super Bowl. USA Today's annual ad meter is a ranking of Super Bowl commercials.
