DOVE PARTNERS WITH EATING DISORDER CENTRE

Unilever Canada's Dove brand has entered into a new partnership with the National Eating Disorder Information Centre. The two have teamed up to promote positive messages about beauty and self-esteem to women through a number of initiatives. The first is a photography exhibit that will travel to six cities across Canada showcasing images of beauty by female photographers. Donations raised during the tour along with a corporate donation will fund the NEDIC's education programs. Radio, online, print and transit ads will support the tour. Advertising for Dove is created by Ogilvy & Mather. Media planning and buying is handled by PHD Canada. Additional initiatives by Dove and the NEDIC such as workshops, retail fundraising efforts, partnerships and research are also planned. Public relations for Dove are handled by Harbinger.
