LESLIE NIELSEN TO CONTINUE AS MARCH OF DIMES SPOKESPERSON

Actor Leslie Nielsen will continue to serve as celebrity spokesperson for the Ontario March of Dimes, a Toronto-based charitable rehabilitation organization that provides services to people with physical disabilities. For the second year in a row, Nielsen will assume the role of Honorary Campaign Chair for Ontario March of Dimes' annual Door-to-Door fundraising effort. The fundraising campaign launched yesterday and will run throughout January. During the month, volunteer canvassers go door-to-door collecting donations. The campaign goal is to raise $1 million. Nielsen will appear in a series of television, radio and print ads promoting the Ontario March of Dimes. The theme for the advertising is "Doing It All... For People With Physical Disabilities." Advertising support will run throughout the province during the duration of the fundraising campaign. The Ontario March of Dimes worked with Dell Productions of Toronto on the television and radio advertising. Print creative was developed in-house.
