ETHICAL FUNDRAISERS RELEASE NEW LOGO
By Adnews Staff
The Canadian Centre for Philanthropy introduced a new logo yesterday that will be used to identify charities who follow ethical practices. The black and gold logo features the words "Ethical Fundraising" surrounded by swirls. It will be licensed to organizations whose fundraising and financial accountability practices meet a standard administered by the Centre. The license will allow those groups to place the logo on their fundraising materials. Some of the first charities licensed to use the logo include Kids Help Phone, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and the David Suzuki Foundation. The Canadian Centre for Philanthropy worked with Creative Folio to design the new logo.
