AMERICAN EXPRESS MEDIA REVIEW TO INCLUDE CANADA

New York-based financial services company American Express has begun a global review of its media planning and buying account. This review includes Canada, according to Audrey Adams-White, senior manager of public relations and communications for Amex Canada of Mississauga, ON. The firm's global media account is currently with MindShare. The creative account, which is not affected by the review, is with Ogilvy & Mather. Adams-White called the review a "standard business practice." According to media reports, MindShare is expected to defend the business.
