GLENNIE STAMNES CHANGES NAME TO ELEVATOR STRATEGY
By Adnews Staff
Vancouver-based Glennie Stamnes Strategy has changed its name to Elevator Strategy, Advertising + Design. The agency quietly made the switch mid-November, said Bruce Fraser, director of creative services. The new name comes from a couple of different areas, Fraser explained, including the concept of moving up and an old saying that at the end of the night the agency's inventory goes down the elevator. Glennie Stamnes was founded 13 years ago by partners Bob Stamnes, who serves as president, and Rob Glennie, who is no longer with the agency. Services offered by the agency include branding, planning, advertising, media, design, interactive and production. New stationary and collateral materials featuring the new Elevator name have been created. A temporary Web site at <http://www.gs-strategy.com> has also been developed. A full site is expected to launch next month when the agency officially launches its new moniker.
