ANDERSON DDB PROMOTES SCIENCE CENTRE KIDSPARK

Anderson DDB Health & Lifestyle is launching a new advertising campaign to promote the Ontario Science Centre's KidSpark exhibit hall. KidSpark is a "learn-through-play" exhibit designed for toddlers to kids 8-years of age. It opened late last month. Advertising promoting the exhibit hall breaks this week and includes radio, newspaper and magazine executions. The 30-second radio spot features a four-year-old girl working the controls at a recording studio. A voiceover announces she knows how to do this because "her parents brought her to KidSpark where she learned about volume, pitch and echo in a miniature sound studio." The spot ends with the girl urging the announcer to do the ad again "One more time - with feeling." The newspaper and magazine executions focus on parents enjoying educational experiences with children. One ad reads "Welcome to Generation Xsmall," while another reads "Adults must be accompanied by children." The campaign's tagline is "KidSpark at the Ontario Science Centre. Play, create, discover, together."
