ALLIANCE ATLANTIS, PRISZM BEGIN LORD OF THE RINGS PROMOTION

Alliance Atlantis Communications and priszm brandz have begun a joint promotion tied to the Dec. 17 release of the film "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King." Called "Hungry for the Quest," the national contest involves all three priszm properties: Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut. Customers will receive a scratch card which can be used to instantly win prizes. Each card also carries a code number which can be used to enter an online draw for a trip for four to New Zealand. A national advertising campaign consisting of radio, television, print, outdoor, direct mail and in-store materials is supporting the contest. The association between Alliance Atlantis and priszm brandz was arranged by Echo Advertising, agency of record for Alliance Atlantis. The advertising materials were developed by Echo and Young & Rubicam, agency of record for priszm brandz. The contest will run until Dec. 28.
