VISIONTV PROMOTES SPIRITUALITY SURVEY

Toronto-based VisionTV is promoting the results of a recently-conducted survey on faith and spirituality. Holmes Creative Communications of Toronto is handling the promotion, which is intended to increase awareness of the survey's results and the 15th anniversary of the station. According to the survey, conducted by Environics Research Group, more than 80% of respondents believe in God and more than 60% believe in heaven or hell. According to Holmes, the agency "leveraged" its past relationship with Time Magazine to "facilitate discussions" with VisionTV, resulting in a cover story about the survey in the magazine's Nov. 24 issue. Holmes has worked for VisionTV for a year. According to Susan Mandryk, vice-president of communications and marketing for VisionTV, "In marketing this milestone 15th birthday we've been impressed with (Holmes') strategic vision and innovative tactics as well as the results so far."
