MAVERICK GAINS TWO ACCOUNTS
By Adnews Staff
Maverick Public Relations of Toronto has recently gained two clients: the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Firkin Group of Pubs. Maverick received the Hall of Fame account through a referral. Previously its PR was handled by a freelancer. The agency's first project was the introduction of the organization's first five inductees: Gordon Lightfoot, Felix Leclerc, Hank Snow, Madame Bolduc and Alfred Bryan. Maverick won the Firkin account in a competition with two other unknown agencies. The agency will work on brand awareness and public relations intended to attract customers to the pubs. Firkin's incumbent agency was The Communications Group of Toronto.
