Echo Advertising won several awards for work on behalf of client Labatt Breweries at the Promo! Awards this week. The Blue Light Free Your Time initiative received a bronze award in the Multi-Discipline Campaign category. The Labatt Blue NHL Cup Crazy Coldies campaign received a gold award in the Activity Generating Brand Volume category. This campaign was also named Best of Show. Echo was the promotional agency for these two campaigns. The brand agency for Labatt is Grip of Toronto.
Canada Investment and Savings has received an award for "Best Corporate Informercial of the Year" from the Electronic Retailing Association. The winning 28-minute program, called "News Team," was part of the campaign for Canada Savings Bonds in 2002. It was created by Vickers & Benson and produced by Torstar Productions.
