FAMILY CHANNEL RELEASES SITCOM ADS

Family Channel of Toronto has created a series of 30 interstitial advertisments depicting a sitcom family called "The Harrisons." The commercials, which range from 15- to 60-seconds in length, are aimed at children eight to 12 years of age. They will run on an ongoing basis during key programming blocks, including the Mad Dash afterschool block and the Non-stop weekend block. The ads use the tagline "Never a dull moment," A Harrisons Web site will launch later this month containing all 30 ads. Family's advertising agency, John St. of Toronto, created the campaign.
