TOYOTA CANADA, TOURISM COMMISSION BEGIN JOINT CAMPAIGN

Toyota Canada and the Canadian Tourism Commission are encouraging Canadians to travel the country in a campaign called "Go Canada Go." The first phase of the national effort will include newspaper advertising that will run until February 2004. The creative invites Canadians to "drive the world's greatest country" and direct readers to a Web site at <http://www.travelcanada.ca> for information. The second phase of the campaign will include television, radio and magazine advertising along with Web site promotion and dealer support campaigns. This phase will start at the end of February and run through the fall of 2004. The $9.6 million campaign will run for three years in total. The advertising for the "Go Canada Go" initiative was developed by Brandworks of Toronto.
