ONTARIO HONDA DEALERS HIRE DUE NORTH
By Adnews Staff
The Ontario Honda Dealers Association has hired Due North Communications of Toronto as its advertising agency of record. The account, worth approximately $15 million annually, includes strategic planning, business planning, advertising, production and promotional activities in Ontario. About 20 agencies were considered for the assignment in a review conducted by the Institute of Communications and Advertising. A spokesperson for the association, Peter Johnson, cited Due North's "unmatched chemistry, both among themselves and with us, and their impressive retail experience and orientation." While Due North will not officially take on the account until October, the agency has already begun planning and orientation. The Ontario Honda Dealers Association consists of 69 Honda dealerships in that province.
