THE HOCKEY COMPANY TO BUY ROGER EDWARDS

Hockey equipment manufacturer The Hockey Company, based in Westmount, QC, is set to purchase Toronto-based clothing company Roger Edwards Sport for an undisclosed sum. Roger Edwards will function as a separate unit of The Hockey Company. According to Matt O'Toole, president of The Hockey Company, the acquisition is an important step for the company in achieving its goal of increasing its lifestyle apparel business.
