ROGERS BEGINS AIR TRANSAT CAMPAIGN FOR BLACKBERRY
By Adnews Staff
Rogers AT&T Wireless began an Air Transat in-flight advertising campaign for its Blackberry 6210 wireless PDA last week. The creative on airplane seatbacks is aimed at Canadians leaving the country. The campaign focuses on the features of the device. This is the start of a six-month category exclusivity contract between Rogers AT&T Wireless and skyAD Media, which handles the sale of in-flight advertising for Air Transat. In addition to the Blackberry, Rogers will also promote its network, family usage plans and sponsorship initiatives. Advertising for Rogers AT&T Wireless is done by MacLaren McCann, while media planning and buying is done by The Media Company. Both firms are based in Toronto.
