PROCTER & GAMBLE TO INSTALL CHARMINIZED WASHROOM AT CNE

Procter & Gamble has brough its "Ultimate Charminized Washroom" to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. The travelling promotion has been visiting fair grounds in the U.S. through the summer. The CNE will be the tour's only only Canadian stop. The exhibit consists of an 18-wheel tractor trailer that contains 27 "luxury washrooms" with Charmin Ultra bath tissue. The truck will stay for the duration of the CNE, which will run until Sept. 1. Radio promotions on local stations including CHUM FM, CHFI FM, EZ Rock and Mix 99.9 will conduct contests for "VIPee" prize packages. The concept for the tour came from Manning Selvage & Lee of Chicago. The initiative is being executed by The Gigunda Group. Public relations for the Canadian tour stop are being handled by Advance Planning/MS&L of Toronto.
