YORK UNIVERSITY PROMOTES ROGERS AT&T CUP

York University of Toronto promoted its role as host of the Rogers AT&T Cup tennis tournament with a multimedia advertising campaign over the weekend. The creative, which was developed by doug agency of Toronto, made use of the university's new logo. "We did a take off of how people react when watching tennis, that is to look left and then right, and used the logo to re-enact the eye movement of tennis spectators," said agency president Doug Robinson. A 30-second television commercial and print advertising ran for the duration of the women's tennis championship which took place from Aug. 9 to 17. Posters, brochures, clothing and tattoos were also used.
