COCA-COLA PROMOTES NEW FRUITOPIA FLAVOURS

Toronto-based Coca-Cola is promoting two new flavours in its Fruitopia fruit drinks line: Raspberry Kiwi Karma and Blueberry Watermelon Wisdom. The flavours were created based on the results of an online survey called "New Fruit Pursuit." Also, new packaging for the brand has been created by Werle Design Associates. The bottle has a swirl embossed on it and has a thinner shape to make it easier to hold. A 60-second cinema ad in Cineplex Odeon and Empire theatres will run until Sept. 4 to promote the Fruitopia brand and highlight the new flavours. In-store materials, a contest on MuchMusic and public relations are also part of the campaign. Advertising for Fruitopia is done by Leo Burnett. Public relations for Coca-Cola are handled by APEX Public Relations. Both of these agencies are based in Toronto.
