SAPUTO MOVES BAKERY DIVISION ACCOUNT

Montreal-based Saputo has moved the advertising account of its bakery division to Arthur + Merlin of Montreal. For four years the business has been with BBDO Montreal. According to Michel Lanctot, vice-president of marketing for Saputo's bakery division, company visited a number of agencies before deciding on Arthur + Merlin. The first campaign from the new agency will be a fall television effort in Quebec. The main product of the division is Vachon snack cakes, including the product lines Passion Flakie, Hop & Go, Jos. Louis, MayWest, Ah Carmel and 1/2 Moon.
