TORONTO PROMOTIONS CONTINUE

The Toront03 Alliance, the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation and Mirvish Productions have begun a fall campaign to promote the city of Toronto in association with approximately 40 hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions. The initiative consists of an entertainment package aimed at visitors to the city, especially those from U.S. border cities. The package includes a ticket to "Mamma Mia" or "Disney's The Lion King", a meal at a restaurant, a one-night stay at a downtown hotel and admission to one of the following attractions: a Toronto Blue Jays game, the CN Tower, a city bus tour, a Toronto Harbour Tour, the Toronto Zoo, the Royal Ontario Museum or the Art Gallery of Ontario. The packages will be sold until Nov. 2 through a 1-800 number. Television, print and online advertising, created by FCB Toronto, will promote the offer.
