CBC AND MUCHMOREMUSIC READY TELECASTS OF TORONTO ROCKS CONCERT

CBC and MuchMoreMusic will broadcast telecasts of the Toronto Rocks concert on Wednesday. CBC Television and CBC Radio One will carry coverage of the show from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Radio-Canada will also air this broadcast. MuchMoreMusic will carry live updates and performance highlights from Downsview Park beginning at noon on the day of the concert. At 9:00 p.m., a two-hour concert special will air selected performances from the day-long concert. Toronto Rocks is intended to boost Toronto's tourism and hospitality industries, damaged by the SARS outbreaks earlier this year. It will include performances by the Rolling Stones, Rush, AC/DC, the Guess Who, Justin Timberlake, Blue Rodeo, the Tea Party, Sam Roberts and others.
